This transmitter is running 2.10 and there is no forward programming to be found. The DX6e, an upgrade to an older DX6i model, is a cheaper option than the DX6 model

There's no separate version number for Forward Programming The new one (just bought) also needed updating so I downloaded the most recent firmware from the Spektrum site There is a bug in v2.10 which, for certain DX6e/8e radios.
